From July 01, 2021, the following regulation will be valid for sales and dispatch of three-phase-asynchronous standard motors in the European economic area:
- Efficiency class IE2 (or better) for motors with a rated power from 0.12 kW to less than 0.75 kW
- Efficiency class IE3 (or better) for motors with a rated power from 0.75 kW to 1000 kW
Due to the high basic quality of the motors we use in this power range, we decided to use the highest energy efficiency class IE3 in all power ranges with immediate effect.
Together with our motor suppliers, we are very pleased to be able to offer this increase in efficiency and to contribute to achieving the climate targets. This is, of course, completely compliant with the new EU Regulation (EU) 2019/1781, which aims to increase the energy efficiency of electric motors over their entire lifetime and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
